I never planned to start a tea company. I was simply trying to survive medical school.

My stress felt unmanageable.

And at night, melatonin made me groggy before exams, disrupted my sleep cycle, and left me feeling dependent on something I didn’t want to rely on long-term.

I needed something different—something that supported my physiology instead of working against it.

The First Blend: Focus Ritual

I created Focus Ritual for myself—something to replace caffeine during long study days when I needed steady concentration, a clear mind, and emotional regulation rather than more stimulation.
